I'm glad I came across this video. I quit my primary job last month. My secondary job I've just been working 1 to 2 days a week. Trying to pick up more hours but I'm on the waitlist. I laided a contract job last month before quiting my primary job. I have to work with the clients budget but I thank God it's another source of income coming in for my side business. God willing, I'm looking to go back to school again next year for a career change this way I have consistent income coming in and I'm able to pay all my bills. I recently started investing into my business again after so long. I was so focused on given time to jobs and not giving time to myself or my small business. Now since I've been slowing down, I've been working in my business and sorting something strategies out expand my brand awareness. I know it'll take some time to grow, but it's worth the wait.

I'm 37, married, 3 kids .... Just had a baby last September. I got laid off in November. I started working again in March. Got fired last month in June. It has been a lot.... But this entire situation has brought me closer to God. Ive just been learning to trust him during the process.... I think it's time to switch careers but goinf back to the norm just SEEMS easier.... But its time for something else

I think motherhood and my 30s coincided in a way that thoroughly robbed me of my identity. I can finally peek out of the “sunken place” but it does feel like I’m rebuilding my life in a way that is fundamentally incongruent with “who I thought I’d be” before marriage and children and aging. It is hard!

This needs to go viral. It came right on time. After I got divorced, I was left with a lot of pain and questions. Through prayer, thought, and therapy I learned that was I so busy taking care of everyone else that I unintentionally neglected myself. That's what often occurs in your 30's, especially if you have given so much to romantic relationships and parenting. By my early 30's I realized that my cup was empty and that in any relationship I'm in, that person has to pour into me. I can no longer interact intimately with those who have no empathy. It will eventually leave me emotionally bankrupt. Thank you. ❤‍🩹

Two things! Loved the video and LOVE what you've done in your flower bed! Way to go! Second thing, allow me to suggest that staying stuck is a luxury that we can ill afford.... We stay with a person, situation or thing because it's comfortable but....ultimately the universe will create a change, and something will happen to change that comfortable situation. It doesn't mean that we need to be on race to do all the things. But it does mean that we need to be open to and seek out the new when it presents itself. Just ask yourself, is this for me? How can it help me? If it's for us, we can get through the discomfort and we learn in the process! We got this!

Stop buying 5$ coffee and brew at home.. Yea that's easy when my whole house drinks coffee at 15$ a pound (can) i'd rather buy the 3.59 coffee that's a small every so often than brew at home cause drinking coffee every morning will last you i guess 12 days on K-Cups. but that's still 12+$ a week maybe if you drink more, 12-20$ for k-cups (96) count from walmart and not even named brand coffee either just great value. WHAT would make the economy better is that if we stop using trickle down economics and just move to a free market with laws in place to stop corporations from owning 90+ different "Companies" under the same umbrella. But that'll never happen until we stop lobbying.

Oh my gawd!!! I found you, for a reason!!!! I’m 48 with a 14 and 10 yo , no family or support system. I bought a 2400sq ft brick cheap ( for a reason! Needless to say, I had these same countertops on some bad, falling apart cabinets. They weren’t even attached to the walls. My kids and I took all the cabinets out and found a great deal on new ones. We installed ( multiple times, because we had never did it!) then needed countertops. I ended up finding a local sawmill and got 2” thick live edge slabs that I sanded and sealed , myself . Got a neighbor to help me lift them onto cabinets and wal-lah! It looks great as counter tops! It was only 200 bucks! But I’m right with you on community. And finding a new area. But I don’t think I will sell. Just because realty never depreciates. Then again if I found the right opportunity…. I feel ya. I’m back in school, right now, so I know I have to level up , first in order to get to where I can make more money in order to do whatever I choose. I’m watching you! And right with you!
